    Corrosion protection

    Anti-corrosion additives protect the surface of metals by forming a protective layer that keeps oxygen and water away. DeoAdd C 112; new development DeoAdd C 1905; DeoSicc Zn type.

    Different technologies are used for this purpose:

    The DeoSicc Zn additives, for example, consist of various carboxylates with different zinc contents. Due to the high quality of the raw materials used for the production of DeoSicc Zn additives, the end products have an unusually low odour, which is highly appreciated in the industry. DeoSicc Zn additives are easy to incorporate due to their low viscosity. One of the main characteristics of DeoSicc Zn additives is their excellent anti-corrosion effect. Their high affinity to metal surfaces can also help to improve wear protection. They are used as high-performance additives for industrial grease formulations and as anti-corrosion additives in hydraulic and gas engine oils.
