The production process for light-colored, neutral-smelling sulfur carriers sounds simpler than it is. The base fluid / rapeseed oil is introduced into a reactor and gently heated. Once the defined temperature has been reached, sustainable sulphur granules are added. The way the process is carried out makes all the difference and ensures the high quality. At the same time, H2S gas is added under pressure, resulting in a higher sulphur content of over 16% in our sulphurized ester. These EP additives must now be expanded in the reactor. The excess gas is fed into the circuit for further production. This controlled process is brought to a relaxed state with the addition of air. The last step is quality control so that these products can be bottled after filtration. At D.O.G., we pay attention to our CO2 footprint in the interests of all our customers and - as with the sulphur carriers - use regional raw materials wherever possible.
